Russian ambassador Mr. Andrei karlov died

Russian ambassador in Turkey Mr. Andrei Karlov was shot dead as he gave a speech in the capital of Turkey,Ankara.
             An Ankara policeman Mevlut Mert Altintas was apparently protesting at Russia's involvement in Syria's Aleppo late he was shot dead.
        Turkish president recap Tayyip Erdogan said the attack was aimed at hurting ties with Russia.
       Mr. Andrei Karlov was attending a photo exhibition called "Russia as seen by Turks" in Ankara a policeman who had been standing behind fired about 8 shots on his back, According to eye witness.

Karlov was rushed to hospital but his death was later confirmed and the gunman was killed in the gallery after 15 min , shootout by police.
Gunman yelled "don't forget about Aleppo ,don't forget about Syria " and Arabic phrase Allah Akbar " at the time when he was shooting ambassador.

About Andrei karlov

Russian ambassador Andrei had served as Soviet ambassador to North Korea for Kuch of the 1980's and took charge of Ankara posting in July 2013.

62 years old karlov had to grapple with a major diplomatic crisis last year when a Turkish plane shooted down a Russian jet near the Syrian border.

Russian president Vladimir V. Putin said on Russian television that mr. Karlov had been"despicably killed" to sabotage ties with turkey , Mr. Putin spoke with the Turkish president , Recep tayyop erdogen , by phone and both leaders agreed to cooperate in investigating the killing , and in combating terrorism broadly.

In an emergency meeting with foriegn ministers Sergey V. Lavrov and other top officials , Mr. Putin said ," there can be only a single result to this stepping up and fighting against terrorism and the bandits will feel this," 

Security concerns Im turkey 

Turkey is facing multiple security threat's including ISIS.

Earlier this month , a spokesman for the hardline Sunni Muslim group urged global sympathizers to carry out new attacks . Singling and Turkish diplomatic, military and financial interest as preferred targets . Altinas also shouted ,"we are the ones who swore allegiance to Mohammed for the jihad " . The most circulation hurriyet newspaper said that was a slogan commonly used in propogonda videos of the group formorly allied to al-qaeda in Syria.

Atlintas , dressed smartly in a suit , nechtie and white shirt is caught in one photograph standing behind karlov. In a video , karlov shown crumpling as he appears to be shot from behind.
