Indonesian air force plane crashes
An Indonesian air force aeroplane Hercules c-130 has ceased in Papua province in Indonesia today at 6:13 am local time was expected to land in wamena.
The plane was carrying food supplies from Timika to Wamena it came down in mountainous terrains near it's destination in this incident 3 pilots and 10 military personnel died.
Ivan Ahmed Riski Titus, operational director of Indonesia's search and rescue Agency told, "the crash site on lisuwa mountain had been found and the bodies of the victim were being bought back to Wamena.
The Plane was purchased from Australia where it was first used in his schedule maintenance.
Air force Chief of staff Hadiyan Suminteat Madja told a news conference,
"The tower in Wamena has spotted the Plane, but it was not certain that the Plane saw the runway."
Indonesia has a poor air record that in June 2015 , the same type Plane was crashed near a residential neighborhood shortly after taking off from Medan.
